ie people Appoints New Board Members

ie people, a revolutionary provider of executive search, talent acquisition consultancy and recruitment programme management services into the Smart Transportation, Smart Infrastructure and Smart Buildings sectors are extremely proud to announce that we have made two key appointments.

Kathryn Cooper-Fay, joins as a board advisor and co-founder as of November 2017.

Kate will support the ie people team on a part-time basis, and will guide the board with design and implementation of strategic objectives relating to the ie people customer experience strategy and wider company growth plans.

Kate is Chief Executive Officer of the JPPD Group, a high level strategic consulting and transformation business that delivers major change programmes to UK FTSE 100 / FTSE 250 and several UK SME companies.

JPPD has delivered transformation solutions (M&A Advisory, Business Streamlining, People Change, Culture Change and Operational transformation) into leading companies like Tesco Plc, Mitie, Network Rail and others at a strategic board level.

Recently a Judge at the UK Customer experience awards, Kate is passionate about improving customer experience across various sectors, she has led transformation programmes on a global basis and is highly regarded as a subject matter expert.

Prior to JPPD, Kate held senior executive positions with companies like Mitie, Kier and ATOC (Now the Rail Delivery Group) where she delivered several critical projects.

Kate has an Executive MBA from Cranfield, along with an LLB Honours Degree from De Montfort University, she is a commercial lawyer and a fellow of the institute of sales and marketing.

Kate is a passionate philanthropist and actively supports numerous charities. Kate is also an advocate of and fully endorses equality, diversity and inclusiveness in industry.

Commenting on her recent appointment, Kate added;

Having known Geoff for many years I have always been impressed with his approach to delivering an excellent customer experience, not to mention his passionate views on inclusivity and diversity in industry, especially within engineering and transportation. There is a challenge to create a more inclusive culture and we believe ie people is well placed to encourage and deliver both improvements in customer (Client and Candidate) experience and to create a more inclusive approach to the delivery of critical people solutions”.

Colin Morris, joins as a board advisor and co-founder as of November 2017.

Colin will also support the ie people team on a part-time basis and will hold direct responsibility for operational performance and governance. He will also advise the board on strategic direction and contribute to the ie people programme transformation and hybrid talent management objectives, which will help ie people’s client base to maximise performance and improve quality across various major project areas in the Transportation, Infrastructure and Facilities Management Services areas.

Colin is Managing Director and founder of One CHM, a strategic programme advisory business based in the UK, serving clients globally, with active projects in the UK and Middle East Region.

Colin was most recently an Executive Director responsible for Strategy at HS2 (High Speed 2, one of the globe’s largest and most critical transportation mega projects). Prior to his tenure with HS2, Colin spent time leading Arcadis and EC Harris in Saudi Arabia, delivering numerous major programmes in the infrastructure and construction sectors. He also spent time with CH2M / Halcrow as Regional Operations Director in the UAE.

Colin’s earlier career was spent with the UK MOD as a major programme lead, prior to this Colin was a fast jet pilot in the RAF.

He holds a Masters Degree in Defence Studies from Kings College, London, a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Glasgow along with a BSc Honours Degree in Mechanical Systems Engineering from Swansea University.

Colin holds the following accreditations: FIMechE – Fellow Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, MIET – Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, MCIBSE – Member of the Chartered Institute of Building Services, CEng – Chartered Engineer, Eur Ing – European Engineer

On joining ie people, Colin commented,
