Scott Parnell and Anchor Systems introduce Rapid Route

Scott Parnell Ltd and Anchor Systems International Ltd are pleased to jointly announce our collaboration and the introduction of Rapid Route to the UK Rail sector. Rapid Route is a revolutionary elevated cable management system utilising Scott Parnell’s PADS approved ARCOSYSTEM® and Anchor Systems eco-friendly, patented Anchor Screw, enabling the fastest, safest, and most cost effective troughing application on the market with huge environmental benefits too.

The Rapid Route system considerably improves efficiency of troughing installation. During one 5-hour shift, 124 Anchor foundations were installed with no on-track plant, ready to accept 744m of ARCOSYSTEM®.

Installing at 6 metre centres, Rapid Route includes a foundation system which replaces the need to excavate and use cast in-situ posts to support ARCOSYSTEM®. Instead, our Anchor screws from recycled steels, manufactured in the UK, are driven into the ground from the surface following
ground clearance checks. The domed connections between the Anchor Screw and ARCOSYSTEM® allow for alignment correction to ensure a right first-time installation.

Sharon Meek, Scott Parnell’s Head of Rail says: “I’m absolutely thrilled Anchor Systems Ltd have chosen ARCOSYSTEM® to work with the Anchor Screw. We now have two of the very best systems working together to offer the sector significant cost savings, work force safety and sustainable cable management installation.”

Hadley Smith, Director of Anchor Systems (International) Ltd says “We are looking forward to developing our Partnership with Scott Parnell, the leading specialist supplier to the Rail industry, in offering the most rapidly installed cable route system available to the market.”
