Predominantly used in the aerospace industry, the Creaform MetraSCAN 3D provides the Staffordshire facility complete confidence in measurement results with its metrology-grade accuracy of up to 0.025mm. Using laser-based scanning, it captures millions of data points per second and is up to 25 times faster than traditional scanning technology, enabling Alpha Manufacturing’s quality team to accurately measure and produce complex components—eliminating any margin for error. Due to its super lightweight and compact nature, it can be used in any environment and takes minutes to set up, reducing downtime and increasing efficiency.
