The Deltic Preservation Society has outshopped its Class 55 Deltic, 55009 Alycidon, in the famed ‘Finsbury Park white cab surround livery’. This distinctive livery was originally introduced by Finsbury Park’s Depot Manager, Alan Baker, in the depot’s final years to boost staff morale. 55009 was one of the depot’s allocation so adorned.
