Ganymede Solutions is bringing the rail industry together this summer to raise vital funds for the Railway Benefit Fund, with a charity golf day set to take place on Tuesday 9 June 2026 at Morley Hayes Golf Club in Derbyshire.
The event will unite businesses and professionals from across the rail sector for a day of networking, friendly competition and fundraising, all in support of the people who keep the UK’s railways running. For more than 165 years, the Railway Benefit Fund has provided practical, emotional and financial support to railway workers and their families during times of need. Today, someone reaches out to the charity for help every four minutes, highlighting the ongoing importance of industry support.
Hosted at the Championship Manor Course at Morley Hayes, the day will begin with breakfast and networking, followed by an 11:00am shotgun start. The Texas Scramble format will see teams compete across a range of on-course challenges, including Nearest the Pin and Longest Drive, before rounding off the day with a two-course evening meal, prize giving and a silent auction.
Beyond the golf, the event is designed to bring the rail community together in a relaxed setting, offering attendees the opportunity to strengthen relationships, share ideas and connect with peers from across the sector.
How to Get Involved
Businesses are invited to sponsor a team for £500, which includes entry for four players, breakfast on arrival, a two-course evening meal and participation in all competitions.
Importantly, Ganymede Solutions is covering the cost of the day, meaning 100% of team sponsorship fees will go directly to the Railway Benefit Fund, helping the charity continue its essential work supporting the UK railway families.
In addition to team sponsorship, organisations can also support the event by donating prizes for the silent auction, helping to maximise fundraising on the day.
Supporting the People Behind the Railways
This event reflects Ganymede’s ongoing commitment to supporting the rail sector, not only through workforce solutions but by giving back to the people who power the industry every day.
By taking part, businesses can make a real difference while engaging with colleagues across the sector in a meaningful and enjoyable way.
