On Sunday the 5th April, the Canute Road Track Circuit Reinforcement project was successfully commissioned.
Corlow Rail produced novel Signalling Design to mitigate against coastal rail head contamination issues, whilst also introducing sequential proving.
The interface between the track circuits and two level crossings, along the bi-direction single line, brought extra complexity but all potential issues were identified and resolved long before detailed Design commenced.
A seamless commissioning with zero Install or Test Logs raised, resulting in a happy client and a safer railway in and out of Southampton Docks.
Corlow Rail look forward to their next commissioning, improving level crossing safety at Moreton, on the 18th April.
