Sulzer has been named among 32 organisations across Yorkshire and the Humber to receive the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award.
The Defence ERS, run by the Ministry of Defence, recognises employers who demonstrate support for the Armed Forces community, from reservists and veterans to military spouses and cadet force volunteers.
The Silver Award reflects a meaningful commitment to creating opportunities for those who serve or have served, and to building workplaces where their skills and experiences are genuinely valued.
Representatives from Sulzer attended the award ceremony, including two RAF veterans who brought first-hand experience of the Armed Forces community to the occasion.
The recognition reflects work across the business to ensure that talented individuals from a military background can build rewarding careers at Sulzer, and that the company continues to foster an inclusive working environment.
