We are delighted to launch our next HR Leaders Group meeting which will take place in Manchester during the afternoon of 4th November.
Timed to precede the CIPD Annual Conference on 5th/6th November the session will be themed around dispute resolution and negotiation and be a roundtable type event that will include:
- Legal presentation around the negotiating framework, timescales, potential impact etc.
- Benefits/risks of multi-year negotiations
- Followed by open discussions (split into smaller groups if numbers allow) around organisation’s industrial relations experiences.
We recognise that talking in too much detail about negotiation strategies may be commercially sensitive and that is not the intention. The session will provide members with the opportunity to share experiences and generic ideas in a safe environment.

About the HR Leaders Group
This initiative is designed to provide valuable peer-to-peer support, updates and discussion opportunities for HR professionals within the Rail Forum membership.
Eligibility and who should attend?
This is a Rail Forum member-only event.
We encourage the following to attend:
- HR Directors / Managers of member companies and those involved directly in skills development and recruitment
- Senior Management of member companies interested in supporting the development of the workforce to deliver activity in the future.
Event Details
The event will run from 14:00 – 16:00 in person only.
Bookings will close on 20th October at midday, with joining instructions and delegate list issued shortly afterwards.
