A picture speaks a thousand words!
GB Railfreight’s pioneering bi‑mode locomotive, the Class 99 (99001 and 99002), departed from the Port of Felixstowe on Sunday 15th February, for the very first time.
Julie Garn, Intermodal Director, who was there, said, “Bringing the Class 99 into Felixstowe for the first time feels like a real step‑change moment. This locomotive isn’t just an upgrade — it’s the future of rail freight.”
