Low Carbon Logistics is the first event of its kind in Scotland. Raising the profile and awareness of the low carbon transition in the rail and road freight sectors, this event is a unique opportunity to celebrate innovation and promote the importance of Pulling Together for Net Zero.

The UK will host the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow from 31 October to 12 November 2021. The COP26 summit will bring parties together to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. As part of the programme for COP26, Low Carbon Logistics has been developed by Mossend International Railfreight Park, Scottish Enterprise, Network Rail, Transport Scotland and PD. Stirling to showcase their support of both the Scottish and UK Government’s vision for a zero-carbon supply chain network and a more competitive and efficient road and rail freight sector.

This three-day event will be held at Mossend on the 8-10 November 2021 to showcase rail freight, low carbon rail and road transport and logistics to COP26 delegates, potential investors, potential future customers and supply chains. Centred around the naming of three brand-new electric and hydrogen trains, the event will raise the profile and awareness around the low carbon transition in the rail and road freight sectors affording numerous trade and innovation opportunities.

Providing a platform to build a community within the freight industry, there is an exciting programme of seminars, exhibitions and ceremonies. Held at Mossend International Railfreight Park, Scotland’s largest international multi-modal rail freight park and a champion of low carbon logistics.
