About the Expo:
The North East Automotive Expo is the NEAA’s annual flagship event and will take place on 25th September this year at the Beacon of Light in Sunderland. It’s been running since 2015 and has grown year on year, and acts as a platform to showcase and connect the automotive supply chain. The event brings together various elements including a line-up of speakers, a meet the buyer with OEM and T1 buyers, over 110 exhibitors and a Tech Zone. Last year the event attracted over 900 delegates and included key decision makers from across the sector.

Day Delegate:
- core supply chain companies and those providing machinery/kit to manufacturing lines can attend – free of charge
- Service suppliers would be at the day delegate rate – £50+VAT
Meet the Buyer:
- members can put forward buyers to meet with potential suppliers based in the North East – we can provide matchmaking based on procurement requirements or we can simply provide details of companies in attendance for buyers to select from – ultimately the buyers have the final say on who them meet. The meetings are 20-minute one-to-one, and we can accommodate 10-12 of these throughout the day for each buyer. Buyers have the option to have an allocated meeting room or a booth on the exhibition floor (some of our buyers prefer to feel a part of the wider event). Other committed buyers involved include OEMs, like Nissan and Komatsu and T1 suppliers, such as Marelli, Unipres and Faltec Europe – Free of charge
- any member attending the event as a delegate can submit expression of interests to meet with NE buyers – note the above, we cannot guarantee appointments due to buyers selecting who they meet – free of charge
- Exhibition Stand – I will extend our NEAA members rate to your members should they wish to exhibit at the event. Prices from £890 + VAT.
- Tech Zone – any member wishing to showcase technology could do so through this area
