Hot off the heals of communicating its move towards becoming an Employee-Owned Trust (EOT), Flotec has further announcements to make.
The group’s recent EOT local media release has now caught the attention of the National Press whilst further endeavours have witnessed the company reach finalist stage in the manufacturing and engineering category for the LeicesterLive Innovation Awards of 2021.
The finalist category is in recognition of how East Midlands SME Flotec has developed a variable pitch fan solution to address DMU RTI situations, thus, reducing delays and cancellations, improving train fleet efficiency, cutting expenditure, and addressing environmental credentials.
Furthermore, Flotec is now proud to report that Lord Whitby has requested the company to be nominated as a Finalist for the ‘Manufacturing Hero’ category on behalf of Made in the Midlands.
