Rail Forum Midlands Announces date for next InfraTalk

Rail Forum Midlands (RFM) are excited to announce the date of InfraTalk for 2022.

The event will take place on 20th January 2022 and will once again be held online using the innovative, virtual networking platform allowing delegates easy access to engage with key representatives from tier 1s across procurement, commercial and senior management teams.

The format again promises a ‘pure networking’ environment for the railway infrastructure sector with no powerpoints, no applications and no appointments.

Opening address by East West Rail

InfraTalk will be formally opened by Simon Blanchflower CBE, Chief Executive, East West Railway Company:

“I’m delighted to be speaking at this important industry event as we move forward with our ambitions to deliver the new East West Rail connection between Oxford and Cambridge. Here at East West Railway Company, we’ve been challenged by Government to be bold and do things differently – and at the same time create a railway that is safe and secure, cheaper for the taxpayer, better for customers, greener for the environment and delivered quicker than previous projects. As an organisation we look for innovation, ideas and expertise from within and outside the rail sector so that we are able to deliver a sustainable rail link that will serve our local communities for the next 100 years or more. I look forward to sharing the latest progress on East West Rail, discussing new ideas with delegates, and sowing the seeds for future collaborations.”

Introducing our event partners, AmcoGiffen and Dyer & Butler

RFM is also delighted to announce two new event partners, AmcoGiffen and Dyer & Butler
