Encompass Engineering is delighted to announce the appointment of Toyin Davies as Chief Engineer, marking a significant step in the company’s growth and commitment to delivering high-quality engineering consultancy across the rail sector.
Toyin joins Encompass with over 25 years in railway engineering and programme leadership. She has delivered major projects across the UK and Europe, including high-profile schemes like Eurotunnel, the Arlanda Rail Link, Thameslink, the Victoria Line upgrade, and HS2.
Toyin has worked closely with infrastructure owners, train operators, and government bodies, advising on the design and delivery of complex rail systems. Her experience spans the full rail project lifecycle, including new train introductions, station builds, signalling upgrades, and accident investigations, all underpinned by a strong focus on engineering standards and continuous improvement.
In her new role at Encompass Engineering, Toyin will oversee the delivery of key programmes, and support clients in achieving excellence in quality, compliance, and operational performance. Her appointment reflects Encompass Engineering’s mission to help operators and fleet owners improve the performance, reliability, and long-term value of rolling stock through high-quality engineering and assurance services.
