London, UK – 4 March 2026 ABM, a leading provider of facility, engineering, transport and infrastructure solutions, has appointed David Miles as Vice President, Operations – Transport. Building on ABM’s leadership in Transport and Aviation, this newly established role will play a pivotal part in driving its growth across the rail, maritime, and bus sectors.
David brings 19 years’ sector experience to ABM’s Transport & Aviation leadership team, reporting to Kelly Parish. His experience leading large-scale transport operations at Mitie has given him deep expertise in delivering safe, compliant and high-performing services across complex, regulated environments. This expertise will support ABM’s continued growth across critical transport infrastructure.
Kelly Parish, Vice President, Transport & Aviation at ABM, said: “Our priority is simple: deliver exceptional service for our customers by truly understanding the passenger experience. We do this every day across 75 airports worldwide, supporting millions of journeys. David’s appointment is key to taking that proven expertise and further applying it across the sector. His leadership will help to scale our operations, strengthen performance and bring the same industry leading standards of service to the wider transport industry.”
The recent successful mobilisation of one of the UK’s largest accessible travel contracts at Heathrow demonstrates the team’s ability to deliver complex services at scale. It also reflects ABM’s wider Transport & Aviation strategy, centred on passenger experience, continuous improvement and technology-enabled delivery through platforms such as ABM Connect. David will now play a key role in mobilising a new flagship transport contract, building on this momentum and further strengthening ABM’s operational leadership across transport environments.
David Miles added: “ABM’s leadership on passenger-first services opens the door to significant opportunities across the wider transport sector. Delivering high-quality solutions in some of the world’s most complex airport environments provides a powerful platform for growth, and that’s what attracted me to ABM. I’m excited to bring that operational expertise to new customers while strengthening performance for existing customers as the business continues to grow.”
As a global leader in airport solutions, ABM’s more than 14,000 aviation team members support millions of passengers annually, delivering fast, efficient, compassionate and welcoming experiences as part of its mission to make every journey seamless.
