FirstClass Safety & Control (FCSC), the UK-based specialist in rail depot protection and control systems, has successfully renewed its RISQS certification for an eighth consecutive year, once again achieving a completely clean audit with no major or minor non-conformances identified.
The achievement reflects FCSC’s continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, competence and operational excellence across its rail industry activities.
RISQS (Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme) is the rail sector’s supplier assurance framework, providing buyers and suppliers with confidence that organisations meet the stringent requirements expected within the industry.
Maintaining a clean audit record over eight successive years is a significant milestone and demonstrates the robustness of FCSC’s management systems, processes and culture of continuous improvement.
Mark Meyrick, Founder of FirstClass Safety & Control, said:
“Achieving a clean RISQS audit is always pleasing, but to do so for the eighth consecutive year is a testament to the professionalism, dedication and attention to detail demonstrated by the entire FCSC team.“Our customers place their trust in us to deliver safety-critical systems that protect people, assets and operations. Maintaining the highest standards of quality and assurance is therefore fundamental to everything we do.”
With more than 25 years of experience in the rail sector, FCSC designs, delivers and supports Depot Protection Systems (DPS) and Depot Control Systems (DCS) for rail operators, infrastructure managers and rolling stock maintainers across the UK and international markets.
The company continues to support a growing portfolio of projects, including recent depot enhancement programmes and safety system upgrades across the rail network, helping clients improve operational safety, efficiency and resilience.
