Rail Forum is encouraging members and the wider rail industry to get involved in International Trade Week 2026, taking place from 9 to 13 November, by celebrating and promoting the strength of UK rail export capability. International Trade Week is a national initiative led by the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, bringing organisations together to showcase the products, services, expertise and innovation that the UK has to offer on the global stage. The week is being supported by Rail Forum as part of our ongoing commitment to helping members grow their export opportunities and raise their profile in international markets.
To help organisations take part, Rail Forum has developed a suite of downloadable social media templates that can be personalised and shared throughout the week. The templates have been designed to make it as easy as possible for businesses to highlight their export success stories, showcase products and services, and demonstrate the world-class capability that exists across the UK rail supply chain.
International Trade Week provides an opportunity for companies of all sizes to celebrate their achievements, connect with new audiences, and reinforce the important contribution that exports make to economic growth, investment and skilled employment. By participating in the campaign, organisations can help demonstrate the breadth and depth of expertise available throughout the rail sector, while showcasing the innovation that continues to drive the industry forward.
Elaine Clark, CEO at Rail Forum, said:
“Our members are delivering capability that is recognised around the world. International Trade Week provides an excellent opportunity to celebrate those achievements, and we encourage organisations across the sector to get involved and showcase the expertise that exists in the UK.”
Members can download the free social media templates and find further information about International Trade Week via the Rail Forum export webpage.
