UK-based Greenbank Engineering Services (GES) is planning to strengthen its position as a leading supplier of bespoke engineering solutions following the appointment of an experienced Business Development and Technical Sales Manager.
Grant Lockhead joins the company with a robust track record in business development and client relationship management.
With over 30 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, and technical sales, Grant previously worked in the Automotive and Motorsports sectors, developing rewarding partnerships with leading manufacturers, including Ferrari, McLaren, VW, SEAT, and AUDI. He will now help GES build even stronger relationships with existing customers while exploring new business opportunities across both established and emerging market sectors.
“In this new role, I will be focussing on ensuring GES continues to deliver innovative products and services that meet the unique needs of clients in the rail, automotive, specialised infrastructure equipment, aerospace, medical, energy, and industrial sectors,” he explained.
“My career to date has been driven by a passion for understanding complex technical requirements and translating them into actionable, value-driven solutions.
“At GES, I’m working in close collaboration with our engineering and design teams to ensure we exceed client expectations, fostering long-term partnerships built on trust and performance.”
Within the wider Greenbank Group, GES has evolved to become an established supplier of specialist machinery, jigs and fixtures for clients in the UK and overseas.
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EN 15085 CL 1 certified, with robust project and quality control systems, it employs a dedicated in-house team of mechanical designers, fabricators, mechanical and electrical fitters and installers based at the company’s 3000m2 manufacturing facility.
GES Managing Director, Aran Harper, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Grant to the team as we continue to diversify and explore new markets as we build on our already excellent reputation for finding cost-effective solutions to unique engineering challenges faced by clients.”
Outside of work, Grant enjoys the great outdoors, including walking his dogs, carp fishing, playing golf and mountain biking.
