Incremental are delighted to announce the launch of ATLAS (Automated Time Loss Analysis System), a 17-month project that will transform how train delays are understood across the railway.
By combining GNSS positioning with signalling, timetable and operational data, ATLAS will automatically identify the root causes of delays, including sub-threshold delays that are often overlooked, uncover reactionary delay chains and provide actionable insights to improve performance, reliability and capacity.
Working alongside their rail industry partners at Northern and Network Rail, they’re excited to take another step forward in delivering smarter operational intelligence and helping build a more reliable railway.
The activity is supported by the European Space Agency Business Applications and Space Solutions (BASS) Programme under the Space4Rail initiative and by the UK Space Agency (UKSA).
