Rail Forum Charity Golf Day Raises £4,000 for Ethstat

Rail Forum is delighted to announce that its 2026 Charity Golf Day has raised an outstanding £4,000 for Ethstat, following another successful event at Horsley Lodge Golf Club in Derbyshire.

Held on 23 July, the annual event brought together rail industry professionals from across the UK supply chain for a day of friendly competition, networking and fundraising in support of a cause that is making a meaningful difference to communities around the world.

All profits from the event, together with additional fundraising through the charity raffle, will support Ethstat and its work tackling poverty through education, healthcare, and community development initiatives.

A key highlight of the day was the competition for the prestigious Neil Harvey Memorial Trophy, named in honour of Rail Forum’s former General Manager, whose contribution to the rail industry continues to be remembered and celebrated through this event.

Congratulations go to DHL, who emerged victorious after a highly competitive day on the championship course at Horsley Lodge.

Rail Forum would also like to extend its sincere thanks to the event partners whose support helped make the day possible:

  • Flotec
  • Ford & Stanley
  • Sumo Services

The generosity of participants, sponsors, raffle prize donors and supporters once again demonstrated the rail industry’s commitment to giving back and supporting charitable causes.

The annual Charity Golf Day continues to provide a valuable opportunity for businesses across the rail sector to strengthen relationships, build new connections and support important charitable initiatives whilst enjoying one of Derbyshire’s premier golf venues.
