Infrarail – more than an exhibition

First staged in 1994, Infrarail is firmly established as Britain’s leading showcase for every aspect of railway infrastructure technology and expertise, with a strong reputation for attracting visiting managers, engineers and buyers at the highest level.

Railway infrastructure in the UK is a busy, exciting and challenging market. As well as once-in-a-generation projects like the HS2 high-speed line, numerous large-scale investments are being targeted at enhancing the performance of the existing system and modernising its assets in preparation for future demand.

Electrification, the Digital Railway and expansion of the London Underground system are among headline projects in a programme that is leading to levels of spending unprecedented in recent years.

Add to this longer term schemes like the capital’s Crossrail 2 and aims to boost connectivity between cities in northern England, and there are clearly great business opportunities for suppliers for many years ahead.
Highly effective in enabling the supply sector to demonstrate its response to these opportunities, Infrarail offers very much more. A strong supporting programme of keynote speeches, technical seminars, project updates and discussion forums make this an all-embracing event for everyone involved in planning, implementing and operating the railway’s fixed assets.

The CITE Hub – Interconnected Thinking

Companies specialising in products and services for the civil infrastructure technology sector extending beyond and interconnected with rail are offered a fantastic opportunity to exhibit in a dedicated area within Infrarail – the CITE Hub. Showcasing the CITE Civil Infrastructure & Technology Exhibits within the Infrarail show reflects the connected technology and planning necessary for fully integrated transport infrastructure to meet future needs.
The CITE Hub is aimed specifically at companies supplying construction products and services, contracting skills, geotechnical expertise, tunnelling, and road infrastructure requirements plus the equipment, materials and products needed to complete large projects.
