Mental Health England courses are quality assured, tried and tested and underpinned by research. The Adult MHFA instructor programme is accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health.

MHFA was founded over 20 years ago in Australia and is now present in 27 countries with 5 million people trained thus far. MHFAiders® help to enhance employee wellbeing and provide a psychologically safe environment for employees to reach out to when needed.
The role of a MHFAider is to spot signs of potential problems, assess possible risks to the person and others, listen without judgement, give assistance or encourage the person to seek further help. The course covers effective skills and techniques to fit into the role within the workplace. MHFAiders® will also join a large community of MHFAiders® following training as well as receiving access to 24/7 digital support and opportunities for ongoing learning. The refresher training gives delegates the opportunity to refresh their knowledge and discuss the wins and challenges they may have experienced in the role of a MHFAer.

The cost of mental ill health to UK business is huge: estimates suggest between £70bn to £100bn annually (1) and the cost of ‘presenteeism’ could be higher still.

Register your interest, including how many delegates you wish to register on the course. We will contact you to arrange registration and payment details. We work with both individuals and businesses alike, and can also provide Face to Face and online courses directly for your business.
