TFL are running a market sounding and procurement of bespoke plastic and rubber components and related services to market capability.
To support this process, a questionnaire is now available for potential suppliers to complete [Questionnaire]. The deadline for submission of completed questionnaires is 13 April 2022 with submissions to Daniel Rickford: DanielRickford@tfl.gov.uk .
Supporting this questionnaire, Daniel and colleagues will be presenting a short briefing session taking place virtually via Zoom on 23 March 2022 at 3.30pm followed by Q&A.
The scope of the market sounding is as follows:
- Plastics products, as defined by clause 2.1908 of BS EN ISO 472:2013+A1:2018, that are bespoke to TfL.
- Rubber products, as defined by clause 3.426 of BS ISO 1382:2020, that are bespoke to TfL.
- Polymer and composite products made by additive manufacturing, as defined by clause 3.1.2 of BS EN ISO/ASTM 52900:2021, that are bespoke to TfL.
- Engineering services required to design substitute, upgraded or new plastics and rubber products that are bespoke to TfL.
Eligibility
This event is open to Rail Forum members and non members and is free to register.
