We are delighted to continue the fleet programme of events, following our highly successful Fleet Performance in March and TOCTalk in July.  This edition will look specifically at Vehicle Maintenance and Obsolescence and we host a range of speakers traversing these huge topics.

This half day event in Crewe, will provide two sessions to give you a view on both obsolescence and maintenance from a range of speakers across the rolling stock sector as well as our roll call, panel Q&As and networking opportunities (including exhibition zone).

Session 1

Session 1 will deliver some more contextual overviews on obsolescence and vehicle maintenance.  Attendees will gain:

  • A ‘how-to’ of obsolescence
  • An understanding of maintenance standards and the role of cyber in obsolescence
  • Insight into how TFL approaches both maintenance and obsolescence
  • A ROSCO perspective on maintenance regimes and how suppliers support this process

Session 2

This session will look more closely at current practices for maintenance and obsolescence management, as well as focus on some key opportunities for delegates to consider, as we welcome the following speakers:

Optional post-event tour

We are thrilled to offer a limited number of places to visit Arriva Traincare’s nearby facility in Crewe.  This short 40 minute tour will provide a great opportunity, particularly for those that are not familiar with a working depot environment.  PPE will be required (minimum safety footwear, hi-vis upper and *bump cap*).  Please indicate in the registration field below if you are interested in place.   Allocation of places will be confirmed in the joining instructions.  Tour should complete around 3pm.

Tickets

Rail Forum members can have up to 2 free of charge places.  Additional places are charged at £50 plus VAT each.

Non Rail Forum members are welcome to attend this event.  A ticket, maximum one per company, can be purchased for £150.

Registration Deadline

Bookings will close at 7.00pm on Wednesday 13th September.  Joining information will be sent out on Tuesday 19th September.
