DDRF Members Inside Out wins £1m tram job

Nottingham-based and family owned Inside Out Technical Security has been awarded a contract worth more than £1m by Vinci Construction.

The project involves the installation of CCTV cameras and a video management system for the latest phase of the city’s tram network. The remit includes the design and creation of a control centre, to monitor Phase 2 of the Nottingham tram works.

Over 140 Pelco cameras and the Pelco Endura System will be installed. Work is scheduled to take six months. Inside Out’s managing director Donna Bickley said: “This is truly a wonderful accreditation and seal of approval for Inside Out and I’m delighted for our team of engineers, all of whom have worked tirelessly to meet the demands of such a technically challenging contract.”

She added: “After successfully being awarded this contract, it will almost certainly permit our company to look at recruitment and further expansion. We feel very grateful that Vinci Construction made sourcing a local business a priority and one they felt was worth investing in.”
