When the UK left the EU it provided the opportunity for the country to develop its own bespoke approach to public procurement. The new Procurement Act will come into force in October 2024 and heralds sweeping reforms to the current approach to public procurement including consolidating the current separate sets of regulations governing public sector contracts and those specific to utilities (which includes rail), defence and concessions.

We are delighted that Shoosmiths will be delivering a member exclusive webinar ahead of the imminent entry into force of the Procurement Act. This will cover key changes from the current regime and what you need to know and prepare for in advance of the new regime going live. This event will be relevant to all members across infrastructure, railways systems and rolling stock.

This event will be delivered on Zoom

Bookings will close at midday on Thursday 2nd May with the joining information sent out shortly afterwards.
