DPS volunteers have successfully trialled D9015 Tulyar on the Great Central Railway. It was tested light engine with both Napier power units individually, then hauled a nine-coach empty stock from Loughborough to Leicester North with both power units operational. This Deltic has not hauled a loaded passenger train for 29 years – this is scheduled for early July – a momentous occasion.
