GBRTT Electrification Deliverability Assessment – Briefing for Potential Volunteers

Date/Time
Date(s) - July 1 2022
10:00am - 11:00am

Location

This event will take place online.

The Railway Industry Association (RIA) and Rail Forum (RF) have been asked by the Great British Railways Transition Team (GBRTT) to identify several experienced volunteers from the electrification supply chain to work as part of the GBRTT team for up to 10 days from July to September 2022. The aim is to provide supplier feedback on each of the decarbonisation pathways which will feed into the WISP. It is important that these pathways are deliverable by the supply chain and account for the implied to disruption to the network during construction. RIA and RF are concerned that supply chain sustainability and skills development should also be key considerations.

Volunteers will work on behalf of the whole supply chain and will be expected to demonstrate a ‘best for industry’ approach. This may provide an excellent development opportunity for the individual and will provide insight into the emerging long-term strategy for the industry and exposure to GBRTT. However please note the work is not remunerated. RIA and RF will facilitate any necessary engagement with the wider supply chain.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please register below for the joint briefing event to learn more about this project and how to express interest. Organisations that are members of both RIA and RF only need register once.

Bookings are open until 5pm on 28th June and joining instructions with the MS Teams link will be forwarded to delegates by 30th.

Sorry, bookings for this event are closed.
