Our Post Covid 19 Planning sessions will include an update from Department for BEIS together with a themed discussion on an important topic.

Workplace Adjustments

Many companies have remained operational, or following a temporary closure, have now reinstated operations, whilst others remain under temporary closure and staff furloughed.

The introduction of effective social distancing measures into operations is not a quick process.  How do you go about evaluating your workplace?  What is the impact on processes and product flows?   With each company coming from a very different starting point and variables of activity, machinery, skills, facility size and layout etc understanding how to delivery an economically viable and social distancing compliant workplace is not easy.

We are very pleased to welcome keynote speakers who will each be highlighting the workplace adjustments which have been introduced in their operations:

  • David Whiteside, Commercial Director, AB Hoses
  • John O’Connell, HSE Manager, Bombardier Transportation
  • Graeme Parkins, MD of Dyer Engineering
  • Rupert Lown, HSE Director, Network Rail

In addition, we are delighted to welcome James Brewer, Head – Rail Supply Chain for Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy.

Following the speakers, we will open the floor to Q&A.
