Tecforce Ltd., baed in Litchurch Lane Derby, have been awarded Transport for London’s contract for the overhaul of all reservoirs on London Underground’s Central Line.
The contract comprises the BS EN286/3 overhaul of up to 48 air reservoirs per week and runs to 2017. Speaking about the deal, Tecforce Managing Director, Roger Atkinson said, “This is Tecforce’s first contract with Transport for London. We are pleased to have won the contract in a very competitive bidding process with our proven ability to process the quantity of air reservoirs in demading timescales.”
Tecforce Ltd is a specialist supplier to the Railway Rolling Stock market, providing skills and expertise in the combined application of engineering and materials technology. This is applied to the repair and overhaul of vehicle structures and train components, consultancy, testing and training services.
